Who is responsible

Enquiries

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. Business or website, telephone number and timeframe or budget are optional. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and discuss the work you request. Please include only what is needed to explain your business enquiry, without sensitive personal information.

Services involved

On the production website, FormSubmit processes form entries for delivery to our email address. It may ask you to complete a Google reCAPTCHA spam check. You can email us directly instead.

See FormSubmit’s privacy information and Google’s privacy policy. FormSubmit’s documentation states that it retains submissions for 30 days. That is separate from our retention of enquiry emails.

How long we keep enquiries

For enquiries that do not become client work, we keep the correspondence for 12 months after the last meaningful contact. We then delete it or document a specific reason to retain it for longer. Client and accounting records are subject to separate retention arrangements.

Your rights and questions

Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, your rights may include access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction and portability. Contact email@simonnorman.co.uk to ask about your information or raise a concern.

You may have the right to object to the use of your personal information. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Website technologies

The site’s own code does not add analytics, advertising scripts, cookies or local storage. The hosting provider may use technologies for security and service operation. FormSubmit and its spam checks have their own policies.

Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to request the font files. No cookie banner has been added to imply a consent choice that this website does not implement.
